Where it started
The site ran a heavy theme on shared hosting. On a mid-range phone the first paint took 3.8 seconds, and analytics showed most mobile visitors leaving before it finished.
What we built
- The same pages, rebuilt as static HTML with the content moved into a CMS the team can edit.
- Images resized and served as AVIF/WebP for each screen.
- A web application firewall in front of the contact form, which had been taking spam.
